Calling for 2026-2028 National Discipline Committee EOI’s

It is once again that time of year when Equestrian Australia calls for National Discipline Committee (NDC) Expressions of Interest for vacancies as listed below.

All of the below positions will be for a three (3) year term (unless stated) commencing 1 January 2026. 

Eligibility requirements and an outline of the role and responsibility for each NDC can be found in the EA NDC Charters and EA Interschool Committee Appointment and Procedures Policy which can be found HERE. A copy of the Athlete Representative Position Description which is specific to this position on each Committee can be found HERE.

Equestrian Australia Dressage Committee

Two (2) vacancies

• Julie Jones has served two consecutive terms (6 years in total) and is not eligible to re-stand again as per the time frame in the NDC Charters
• Lisa Baker has served one term and is eligible to re-stand for a second term.

Equestrian Australia Eventing Committee

Two (2) vacancies and one (1) Athlete Representative

• Jamie Buckby has served two consecutive terms (6 years in total) and is not eligible to re-stand for as per time frame in the NDC Charters
• 1 Committee position (currently vacant)
• 1 Athletes Representative position (currently vacant)

Equestrian Australia Jumping Committee

Two (2) vacancies and one (1) Athlete Representative

• George Sanna has served one 3-year term and is eligible to re-stand for a second term. 
• 1 Committee position (currently vacant)
• 1 Athletes Representative position (currently vacant)

Equestrian Australia Show Horse Committee

Two (2) vacancies and one (1) Athlete Representative

• Peta Daffurn has served one 3-year term and is eligible to re-stand for a second term.
• Alyson Emery has served one 3-year term and is eligible to re-stand for a second term.
• 1 Athletes Representative position (currently vacant)

Equestrian Australia Endurance Committee

Three (3) vacancies

• Kristie Wright has served one 2-year term and is eligible to re-stand for a second term. 
• Sarah Parker has served a 1-year casual vacancy term and is eligible to re-stand for a further 2 years.
• Annette Bailey has served a 1-year casual vacancy term and is eligible to re-stand for a further 2 years.

Equestrian Australia Vaulting Committee

Two (2) vacancies

• Karen Ford has served one 3-year term and is eligible to re-stand for a second term.
• Eliza Wark-Chapman has served one 3-year term and is eligible to re-stand for a second term.

Equestrian Australia Driving Committee

One (1) vacancy

• 1 Committee position (currently vacant)

Equestrian Australia Interschool Committee

Two (2) vacancies

• Leah Brown has served one 2-year term and is eligible to re-stand for a second term.
• 1 Committee position (currently vacant)
